Unexpected Color : This gallery features long-exposures and unusual lighting, including uncorrected color differences between light sources. There are color casts and temperature differences in different light sources. The human eye (along with the brain) automatically adjusts to many of these differences without our even being aware. The camera, on the other hand, records exactly what it sees. This gallery features photographs of long-exposure night shots, either using only ambient lighting or specific sources of lighting.

Unexpected Light : Near-infrared photography. Certain material, especially green-leafy material, is a very good reflector of infrared light, which the human eye cannot see. Do plants reflect infrared as a form of protection?
